  5. Version 2.25 drops "2000" from the program title, and has
  6. some minor additions and bug fixes.
  7.  
  8. To install, follow the instructions in readme.txt. It is safe
  9. to install KeyText  to the same folder as an earlier
  10. version, but make sure you exit KeyText first, if it is
  11. running.
  12.  
  13. We also advise, as part of your normal backup strategy, the
  14. regular copying to a safe place of any files with the
  15. extension .ktt - these contain your KeyText data. This should
  16. be done prior to installation of any new version.

  23. 2.25    Removed "2000" from program title (added for a major
  24.     upgrade at the end of 1999) to restore original name:
  25.     KeyText.

  27.     Added option where right-clicking an item in
  28.     KeyText's left-click (or right-click anywhere) menu
  29.     goes straight to the "Edit text items" window for
  30.     that item. You can set this option in KeyText
  31.     Settings, Customize tab. With this option set, you
  32.     could go straight to the Edit window for item X by
  33.     left-clicking the KeyText icon and right-clicking
  34.     item X.

  36.     The alternative right-click actions for the
  37.     left-click menu, including the new Edit option
  38.     mentioned above, are now available even if the
  39.     "right-click anywhere" feature is disabled.

  41.     Added new password level which allows the user to
  42.     open a KeyText data file and run items, but password
  43.     protects access to Edit text items, Settings and
  44.     Organizer. Scheduled items can optionally be hidden
  45.     from the left-click menu for this password level.

  47.     Added new option to the Ask and Input fields to mask
  48.     typed characters with a specified character - for
  49.     example * can be chosen to appear for a password
  50.     entry.

  52.     Added two new faster speed levels for running macros,
  53.     and reduced the short built-in delays which followed
  54.     certain fields (for example, a Mouse action - the
  55.     delay is built in to give the target application time
  56.     to process the click, etc.).

  58.     Fixed problem which caused the fields CallSeq,
  59.     CallRand, CallSelect, LinkSeq, LinkRand or
  60.     LinkSelelct to fail if the list of items specified
  61.     was greater than 255 characters long.

  63.     Fixed bug which sometimes caused KeyText to crash if
  64.     a Run field was at the end of an item.
  65.  
  66.     Fixed bug where if a hotkey was set for the
  67.     left-click menu, displaying Settings and then
  68.     clicking Cancel could clear it.

  70.     Fixed problem which sometimes caused the Activate
  71.     field to fail if the specified window was minimized.
